This Privacy Policy governs the use of the Spell the Hive mobile application (iOS and Android) and website, developed by Arid Clown. We act as the data controller for any information processed under this policy.

We believe you should be able to play games without sacrificing your privacy. Spell the Hive is designed from the ground up to respect your personal data.

We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data, gameplay logs, device telemetry, or tracking information on remote servers.

• No accounts: You do not need to register, sign in, or provide an email address to play.
• No tracking or analytics: The app does not include third-party marketing, profiling, or behavioral analytics SDKs.
• No ads: The game contains no advertising networks or code that monitors your behavior.

To keep track of your gameplay, the app saves state locally on your device using MMKV. This data remains strictly on your device.

• Active puzzle state, including current letters, center tile, found words, and score.
• Completed puzzle history, so puzzles do not repeat.
• Player stats, streaks, longest word, points, badges, and achievements.
• Theme preferences and language selection.

Because we do not collect personal data, Spell the Hive is designed to comply with children's privacy requirements such as COPPA and GDPR-K.

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13.

Spell the Hive may request permission to send local reminders or notifications. These are scheduled and processed by your device OS, not external push servers.

Because progress and preferences are stored locally, you are in control. You can reset progress in the app settings, and deleting the app deletes its local data.
