1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or playing Spelling Hive (including the mobile applications for iOS and Android, and the web-based version), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not access or use our services.
2. Description of Service
Spelling Hive is a word puzzle game developed by Arid Clown. It is provided for personal entertainment free of charge, with no in-app purchases, ads, or subscription fees. The service is provided offline-first, storing game state entirely locally on your device.
3. Intellectual Property
All content, source code, game mechanics, assets, dictionary configurations, trademarks, logos, and graphics associated with Spelling Hive are the intellectual property of Arid Clown and its contributors, protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to run the game for personal, non-commercial use on your personal devices.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to exploit the game or any of its proprietary code for commercial purposes, attempt to disrupt or manipulate the application's local database structure, or package and redistribute the application without express permission.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
SPELLING HIVE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
6. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL ARID CLOWN, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF GAME PROGRESS OR DATA RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION.
7. Governing Law
These terms and any disputes arising out of or related to Spelling Hive will be governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make updates, the "Last updated" date at the top of the terms will be revised. Since the app does not collect personal contact information, you are encouraged to check this page periodically for changes.
